Originally a foundry, Cendres+Métaux has extensive expertise in recycling precious metals. This activity now lies at the heart of its services.
Aware that recycling precious metals is a matter of trust, Cendres+Métaux offers total transparency at every stage of the process. In addition, it makes every effort to ensure that the recycling process is carried out environmentally. It also strives to continuously increase the proportion of recycled precious metals used in its products.
As a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), Cendres+Métaux complies with the code of practices (CoP) as well as the chain of custody (CoC) standards. These certifications demonstrate that the company acts sustainably and that the materials from its supply chain do not finance conflicts anywhere in the world.

The recycling of precious metals is followed by the production of new alloys. Cendres+Métaux is capable of producing a wide range of alloys, thus meeting all requirements in respect of the composition of precious metals. These alloys are produced in close collaboration with the refining and analysis departments, according to the precise specifications of its clients. The casting process is a craft that requires in-depth knowledge and cutting-edge technologies, in order to obtain perfectly uniform castings. Cendres+Métaux is thus the ideal partner when it comes to supplying the most demanding of clients with gold, silver, palladium or platinum.

Freshly cast alloys are finally shaped. Two processes are used to help ensure uniformity of the final material: cold forming – by rolling or drawing – for the production of wires, profiles and strips  on the one hand; and heat treatment of alloys on the other hand, with each alloy having its own specifications.
