18.10.2022 - The Board of Directors of Cendres+Métaux Holding SA appoints Philipp von Büren as CEO of the Cendres+Métaux Group

During the last three years, the two CEOs Ronald J. Lenzeder (Medtech) and Philipp von Büren (Luxury+Industry) have managed the turnaround and stabilized the performance and profitability of the group. We would like to thank the employees for their commitment and trust in Cendres+Métaux during this period. 

The future demands a strong and sustainable growth in production skills, with a clear focus on Contract Manufacturing (CMO), serving industries such as medical technology, watchmaking and jewelry. The management of precious and non-precious metals, such as titanium, is also a core competence. Our branded dental products have historically contributed strongly to the growth of Cendres+Métaux, which is why we will continue to manage and nurture this business in the future.

This growth strategy of the group is confirmed and now requires an agile, unified leadership and common goals. The Board of Directors has therefore decided to appoint Philipp von Büren as CEO of the Group as of October 18, 2022.

Ronald J. Lenzeder has decided to leave the company to pursue a new opportunity outside the group. We would like to thank Ronald J. Lenzeder for his contribution to the turnaround of the Medtech division over the past years and wish him well in his new endeavors.

Philipp von Büren, age 47, has a background in banking and international management. He has a profound expertise in medical technology and the watchmaking industry. Philipp von Büren started in 2018 as CFO of the group and took over the position of CEO of the division Luxury+Industry in the same year. He has proven his management and leadership skills over the past 4 years within the Cendres+Métaux Group.

We are pleased that Philipp von Büren has accepted this challenge and will lead the company in his new role as CEO of the Group. We are convinced that he will successfully lead the Cendres+Métaux Group into the future in cooperation and with the support of all. We wish him all the best and much success at the top of the Cendres+Métaux Group.
