IT specialist EFZ platform development

1st year of training Foundation year at the Berufsbildungszentrum Bern (vocational training centre) 
- Basic part of the training including all facets of IT 

2nd year of training 
- Assisting with support, installation and maintenance of hardware and software within the company 
- Assisting with current network, software and hardware projects

3rd year of training
- Introduction to servers and setting up a test server environment  
- Assisting with current projects and independently carrying out subprojects in the areas of network, software and hardware 

4th year of training 
- Further expansion of the server environment 
- Carrying out your own projects and taking over subprojects  
- Performing simulations in preparation for the final practical

• Foundation apprenticeship year: Training at the Berufsbildungscenter (BBC) (vocational training centre) in Bern 
•  Host company: training in Biel/Bienne 
• School: Gewerblich- Industrielle Berufsschule Bern (gibb) (commercial/industrial vocational school) 

• School-leaving certificate at least at Sekundarschule level
• A good command of German and English; knowledge of French would be an advantage
• The ability to think logically and in abstract terms and good spatial awareness
• Good concentration skills and quick on the uptake
• Team player
• A systematic approach to work

Unfortunately, we are not offering an apprenticeship as an IT employee in 2025.
